Michael Hollenbeck

Michael Hollenbeck's work experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Optisys LLC since June 2016. Prior to that, they worked at L-3 Communications as a Senior RF/Antenna Design Engineer from April 2009 to June 2016. In this role, they focused on designing, simulating, and testing high frequency antenna components and RF systems. Michael also gained extensive experience in waveguide, microstrip, coplanar waveguide, antennas, arrays, filters, and various passive components. Earlier in their career, Michael worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory as a STEP Engineer from May 2007 to January 2009. During this time, they specialized in fabricating microfluidic devices in a clean room environment and simulated complex microfluidic systems using Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab. Michael also designed and implemented clean room processes for fabricating microfluidic devices on a glass substrate.

Michael Hollenbeck obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Michael further pursued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from 2006 to 2008.
