Bill Heck

Bill Heck, CISSP, CSSLP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and network management, currently serving as Manager of Threat Management and Principal Consultant at Optiv Inc since June 2014. Prior to this role, Bill worked as a Security Consultant at FishNet Security and served as an IT Security Analyst - Specialist at FIS from 2004 to 2014, focusing on ethical hacking, application testing, and vulnerability management. Bill's earlier career includes positions as a Network Engineer at Cooper Power Systems, a Network Technician at Generac, and a Service Technician at TRC Computers. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Technology from Cardinal Stritch University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Electronics from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
