David Thomas

David Thomas has extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology, currently serving as a Cybersecurity Advisor for Enterprise at Optiv Inc since April 2021. Prior to this role, David was the Founder and Principal of Quofinity until January 2025 and held positions such as Senior Account Manager and Security Solutions Architect at Adirondack Cabling and Security. Furthermore, David worked as a Sales Engineer at Open Systems Integrators and as Director of Operations at Priority Connections. David's career began at Verizon, where David held multiple roles including Network Engineer and Operations Manager. Academically, David holds an Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard University, a Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Security from Boston University, among other certifications and degrees in networking and system administration.
