Geoff D Rivera

Geoff D Rivera is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response, information security, and academia. Currently serving as Practice Manager at Optiv since October 2021, Geoff leads the Global Cybersecurity Incident Response Restoration Practice and has successfully launched new service offerings. Prior roles include Senior Consulting Manager at Accenture, where Geoff developed a global security program for a major manufacturing client, and Director of Information Technology at TRUCKEE GAMING, LLC. In academia, Geoff has held adjunct professor positions at Western Nevada College and Nevada Technology Academy, teaching various courses in information systems and cybersecurity. Geoff holds a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University and multiple other relevant educational qualifications.
