John Baker

John Baker is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in threat and vulnerability management. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Optiv since May 2022, John previously worked as a Consultant at Secureworks, where John led vulnerability management architecture for large enterprise programs. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Wyndham Destinations, focusing on cybersecurity threat and vulnerability management, and Senior Analyst at Concentrix, where John led vulnerability management and penetration testing. John's technical expertise is complemented by experience in systems administration and development from earlier positions at HKS Inc. and Barkley Consulting Engineers. John is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology, building on a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration from The University of Alabama and an Associate of Arts from Seminole State College of Florida.
