Paul Herrmann

Paul Herrmann is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience in edge security and cloud security solutions. Currently serving as a Technical Manager at Optiv since May 2021, Paul specializes in SASE Architecture, Zero Trust, and Security Service Edge, providing thought leadership and conducting workshops to guide clients through their cybersecurity journeys. Paul also holds an Adjunct Professor position at Chatham University, teaching cybersecurity at the undergraduate level. Additionally, as a Board Member of the Cloud Security Alliance, Paul contributes to industry leadership and collaboration. Previous roles include Cloud Security Engineer at Regions Bank and CASB Engineer at PNC, showcasing expertise in project management, vendor selection, and cloud security implementation. Paul holds a Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance and a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Forensics and Information Security from Robert Morris University.
