Shaun Kummer

Shaun Kummer is a seasoned professional in threat and vulnerability management, currently serving as Practice Manager at Optiv since November 2020, where responsibilities include project tracking, staffing decisions, and supporting consultant development. Previously, Shaun held roles such as Senior Security Consultant at Optiv, Team Lead at Maritz, IT Technologist at Charter Communications, System Administrator at Centene Corporation, and Police Officer at Florissant Police Department, demonstrating a strong foundation in cybersecurity and law enforcement. Additionally, Shaun served as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the United States Army, where expertise in threat intelligence and investigations was developed. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
