Tim Elrod

Tim Elrod is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in information security, penetration testing, and vulnerability research. Currently serving as Practice Manager and Managing Principal Consultant at Optiv Inc since June 2010, Tim also operates as a Security Researcher at Bastard Labs since 2004 and is the Founder of Ri0tnet Security, dedicated to advanced penetration testing and vulnerability research. Previously, Tim held positions as an Information Security Engineer at INTEGRIS Health and led the HIPAA Compliance initiative at CompOne. An earlier role in IT was at Factor from June 2001 to February 2004. Tim's educational background includes attendance at the University of Oklahoma and Chickasha High School.
