Vikas Phonsa

Vikas (Vik) Phonsa is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience in the cybersecurity and software sectors. Currently at Optiv since June 2021, Vikas has previously held significant positions including Director of Product Management at Contrast Security and roles focused on SaaS Vulnerability Management and Security at Tenable and Qualys. Vikas's expertise extends to building cloud-based application security products, including WAF and DDoS prevention solutions during tenure at Verizon Edgecast. Earlier career highlights include contributions to Symantec, Shopzilla Inc., Mercury Insurance, and American Suzuki Motor Corporation. Vikas holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Master's in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
