Misann Ellmaker

Misann Ellmaker currently serves as the Head of Communications at Optiva Inc., where responsibilities include advising the CEO and executive leadership on public relations and communication strategies related to business development and stakeholder engagement. As the President and Founder of Imagine Consulting and Communications since November 2008, Misann emphasizes the powerful role of communication in fostering engagement and inspiration. Previously, Misann held the position of Executive Director at BAMTECH within Major League Baseball from January 2005 to December 2008, where efforts focused on stakeholder communications and business development strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director for Minor League Baseball, overseeing internal and external communications, and as Director of Licensing, managing communications with various stakeholders and league officials. Misann holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Tampa.
