Murat Toraman

Murat Toraman has had a successful and extensive career in sales and business development in the telecommunications industry. Murat currently holds the position of VP of Sales Europe at Optiva Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Alepo as the VP of Sales EMEA from 2018 to 2022, where they focused on sales management for telecoms solutions and products in the EMEA region.

Before joining Alepo, Murat served as the EMEA Sales Director at Comptel from 2011 to 2018, responsible for sales management in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Turkey, and Central Asia. Murat also worked as the EMEA Sales Director at Openet from 2010 to 2011, focusing on strengthening the team and expanding Openet's presence in the telecoms software market in the EMEA region.

Murat has a wide range of experience in the field, having also held the position of EMEA Sales Director at Optiva Inc. from 2005 to 2009 and EMEA Sales Manager at Telenity Inc. from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they worked at Vodafone in various roles, including Sales Manager and Marketing Manager, where they managed sales and marketing activities for various product lines of Vodafone Technologies.

Throughout their career, Murat has demonstrated a strong ability to drive sales, develop new business, and build relationships in the telecoms industry.

Murat Toraman's education history includes studying at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2018, where they focused on Managerial Finance in the Department of Finance. In 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Science in Marketing at Ulster University. Their earliest degree was a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration, which they obtained from Eastern Mediterranean University between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, Murat Toraman received a certification in Contract Law from Harvard Business School in 2018.
