Armando Flores, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in market risk management. Currently serving as Head of Market Risk at Optiver since April 2018, Armando has also held the position of Market Risk Team Lead. Prior to this, Armando was on garden leave at Non Compete from July 2017 to March 2018. Armando's earlier roles include Risk Analyst at PEAK6 Investments from November 2015 to June 2017, and at Achievement Asset Management LLC from September 2013 to November 2015. The career began as an Operations Analyst at cleverbridge between January 2012 and September 2013. Armando holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, completed in 2012.
