Catalin Iacob

Catalin Iacob is a Software Developer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently employed at Optiver since December 2013. Previously, Catalin worked at Cebra BV from December 2008 to November 2013, contributing to the development of the VirtuoCity platform, which included creating a custom server in C++, a client browser plugin, and a web application. Catalin's career began with a graduation internship at Fraunhofer FOKUS in 2008, focusing on network connectivity in Next Generation Networks. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for an Operating Systems course at Politehnica University Bucharest and completing multiple internships at Freescale Semiconductor, where Catalin designed automated test frameworks and developed applications for RTCP packet analysis. Catalin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Politehnica University Bucharest, earned in 2008.
