Dan Huizinga

Dan Huizinga is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Officer at Optiver since November 2024, Dan previously held the position of Business Controls at Citadel Securities from March 2020 to November 2024. During a transitional period referred to as Garden Leave, Dan contributed to the firm's compliance efforts. Prior experience includes serving as AVP of Market Surveillance & Supervision at ABN AMRO Clearing USA LLC from August 2015 to March 2020, and starting as an Associate in Client Operations at the same company. Dan's career began with an internship as an Investment Consulting Intern at Scottrade in early 2014. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Finance from North Central College, completed in 2015.
