Derek Tsui

Derek Tsui has a strong background in trading and finance, currently serving as a Trader specializing in Equity Options at Optiver since February 2021. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Automated Trading Strategist at J.P. Morgan, focusing on FX spot and NDF automated trading from August 2019 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes a Markets Summer Analyst role at J.P. Morgan in 2018 and a Software Engineering Internship at MakeSpace during the HackNY Fellowship in 2017. Derek Tsui earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Economics, from Stanford University between 2015 and 2019 and completed academic studies at Stuyvesant High School from 2011 to 2015.
