Edward Sternberg

Edward Sternberg is an experienced professional in trading, currently serving as Head of Metals Options Trading at Optiver since November 2019. Having previously held positions as a Metals Options Trader and Index Options Trader at the same company, Edward also completed a Securities Summer Analyst role at Goldman Sachs, where time was spent on various trading desks in the Securities division. Prior experiences include a Quantitative Trader Internship at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, which involved extensive training in Options, ETFs, SQL, VBA, and Python, and earlier internships at multiple firms including Goldman Sachs, Mount Capital, DOORWAY CAPITAL LIMITED, RGL Capital LLP, and the Oriental Club. Edward holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
