Fred Wu

Fred Wu, CFA, is currently a Derivatives Trader at Optiver, specializing in EQD1 Trading. Previously, they held positions including Director of Delta One Derivatives Trading at Bank of America, where they managed a capital-light portfolio and were on track for their highest PNL year upon resignation. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Financial Analyst Intern at Amazon and an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC, among others. Fred is also taking time for family, serving as a Full-time Dad in 2025. They graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern University.
