Ima Schoonbeek

Ima Schoonbeek currently serves as the Head of Operational Risk for Optiver US & Europe since October 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager in the Global Transformation Office at ING, focusing on performance management for digital and regulatory change. At FMO, Ima contributed to the four-year strategy review, while previously at BP, significant contributions were made to strategic planning in the Iraq region and throughout the Aromatics sector in EMEA. Additional positions have included commercial analysis at BP Shipping and involvement in crisis management. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA with distinction from Saïd Business School, along with advanced degrees from Delft University of Technology and Universiteit Leiden.
