Jason Obrycki

Jason Obrycki is a seasoned professional with experience as a Quant Trader at Optiver and Co-Founder of Freely, a FinTech company for E-commerce, both since May 2022. In addition to these roles, Jason serves as a Consultant at MECC Consulting Group, where a focus on data analysis and machine learning has led to significant profitability improvements for clients. Previous experience includes a Data Science and Machine Learning Internship at Edcura LLC, where Jason developed predictive models and visualized performance metrics, as well as research at the Computational Biology Lab analyzing social media data. Jason's foundational finance knowledge was gained through an internship at the Applied Finance Group, contributing to the evaluation of various investment projects. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, alongside minors in Mathematics and Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan.
