Lu Xia, PhD, currently serves as the Trading Team Lead at Optiver since February 2016 and has held the positions of Trader during this time. Prior to joining Optiver, Lu Xia was a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne from February 2013 to December 2015, focusing on smart grid technologies and the integration of emerging technologies such as electric vehicles, renewable energy, and storage devices. Lu Xia obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The Australian National University from 2009 to 2012.
