Lucy Jiao

Lucy Jiao is a Quantitative Researcher at Optiver since September 2024, previously serving as a Quantitative Research Intern at the same company. Lucy's experience includes software engineering internships at Microsoft and Activision, where responsibilities included full-stack development and user experience improvements. At SimplyWise, Lucy contributed as a Full-Stack Engineering Intern, developing new features and a mobile app. Earlier roles included Full Stack Engineer at DEV: A Harvard Student Agency and Finance Associate for the Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament. Lucy began her research career at New York University's Shabani Lab in quantum computing. Educationally, Lucy holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Computer Science from Harvard University, with prior studies at Columbia College and Nyack College.
