Matthew Coffey is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in system engineering and application performance. Currently employed at Optiver since July 2015, Coffey measures application performance while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to enhance performance. Previous roles at CME Group from 2005 to 2015 included leading Linux and Windows engineering teams in transitioning systems management to industry-standard tools and directing the design and construction of a low latency trading environment. Additional positions held include System Administrator at Chase and Lead Engineer at the American Medical Association and Collective Technologies. Coffey holds a Master’s degree (ABD) in Physics from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis.
