Miles Scherer has a diverse range of experiences in the fields of marketing, quantitative research, and education. Currently serving as a Quantitative Researcher Intern at Optiver since December 2025, Miles previously held the role of Marketing Executive at Project Magma NZ for six months in 2025. Academic experience includes a position as a Summer Researcher and Teaching Assistant at The University of Auckland from November 2024 to February 2025. In addition, Miles gained valuable customer service skills as a Shop Assistant at PB Tech from July 2021 to April 2023 and worked as a Tutor at MyTuition from March 2023 to December 2024. Miles achieved a High School Diploma from UWC Atlantic College and is currently pursuing a dual degree in Engineering Science and Computer Science at The University of Auckland, maintaining an impressive academic record with a GPA of 8.9 out of 9.
