Oliver Williams is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in trading and sales. Since November 2013, Oliver has held multiple roles at Optiver, including Head of Trading, Partner, Head of Commodities, and Head of US Treasury Options, focusing on market making and proprietary trading of US Treasury options. Prior experience includes serving as an FX Sales Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2012 to September 2013, where Oliver priced and executed FX trades for institutional clients. Oliver also completed a Summer Analyst position with the same bank in 2011, receiving offers for a graduate position from both the FX Sales and Interest Rate Sales desks. Oliver holds a degree from the University of Cambridge, complemented by prior self-study in mathematics and economics.
