Patrick van Hesteren

Patrick van Hesteren is an experienced software development professional with a strong background in automated trading risk and risk systems. Currently serving as Software Development Team Lead at Optiver since October 2017, Patrick has previously held roles as Software Developer and Junior IT Specialist at ING Nederland. In addition to technical expertise, Patrick demonstrated leadership as Chairman of W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' and gained valuable experience as a Software Developer at Methylium and during an internship at Emando B.V. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science Data Science & Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology. Early education concluded with a VWO diploma in Nature and Science from IJsselcollege.
