Rob Broersen

Rob Broersen currently serves as the Head of Global Infrastructure at Optiver, a position held since November 2008, where leadership encompasses Infrastructure teams globally to support the firm's trading operations. Previously, Rob has led various trading technology teams, including a group of over 50 professionals for Options trading and another team of 18 for Delta1 trading technology. Rob also built and expanded FPGA development teams across three continents while creating low latency trading systems and proof of concept systems. Prior to joining Optiver, Rob worked as an Electronic Hardware Designer and Lead Engineer at Chess and Chess Embedded Technology BV. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Computer Science from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
