Samet Yaslan

Samet Yaslan is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in low latency trading systems and financial software projects. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer and Software Development Team Lead at Optiver since August 2014, Samet leads a team focused on low latency trading systems and engages in hands-on development using C++ and Python. Prior roles include Software Development Manager at Destek Menkul, where Samet managed software projects related to order routing, risk management, and MetaTrader plugins, and Software Development Team Leader at Foreks, overseeing financial software projects and application processes. Earlier experience includes embedded software development at Beko Elektronik and research at Istanbul Technical University on audio watermarking. Samet holds an MSc in Communication Engineering and a BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
