Thomas D'huys is an experienced FPGA Engineer currently at Optiver since February 2017, where expertise includes FPGA design using hardware description languages and development of low-latency, reliable FPGA solutions. Previously, Thomas worked at Imagination Technologies as a Hardware Design Engineer focusing on mobile graphics processors, and at INESC-ID during an internship, where a high-performance application for HEVC motion estimation was implemented. Early career experiences include a software and mechatronics internship at Octinion, where contributions were made to advanced agricultural equipment designs. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and has additional academic credentials from Instituto Superior Técnico and KU Leuven in Engineering Technology.
