Yi Chen Chong is a quantitative researcher at Optiver, having started in 2025. Previously, Yi served as a sergeant in the Singapore Armed Forces from 2019 to 2021, where they oversaw a combat engineering section and participated in crucial training exercises. Yi has also gained valuable experience through internships, including roles at Cisco as a Site Reliability Engineer Intern and at ByteDance as a Software Test Engineer Intern.
