Peter Cholakov

Peter Cholakov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the optical and defense industries. Currently serving as President for Europe at Healthcare Components Group since August 2021, Peter also holds the position of Co Chairman at the Bulgarian Defence Industry Association and is Vice President of Sales and a Board Member at American Optics, roles maintained since October 2017. Additionally, Peter has been the Chair of the Board of Directors at OPTIX Co since March 2003 and a business owner at Primex Engineering since January 2002, specializing in optical parts and optoelectronic systems. Other notable positions include General Manager at Micro Optics Europe since September 2017 and Partner at Celigra International GmbH since July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technical University Sofia and a Master's degree in Production Management from The University of Kitakyushu.
