Casey Yu

Casey Yu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Casey started as a Co-op IT/Telecom Infrastructure Analyst at Netstar Solutions in 2004, where they assisted in IT infrastructure analysis and design. In 2005, they moved to Kinberg Enterprises Ltd, where they worked in IT and Office Support, developing a JSP-based Inventory and Accounting System and providing office administration and IT support. From 2009 to 2015, Casey worked at Prognoz.com as a Software Development Team Lead, managing and developing numerous projects in various platforms and working with data warehouses APIs. In 2015, they joined Knoema as a Mobile Development Consultant, remotely leading a team of mobile application developers and building business intelligence applications and data visualization tools. In 2016, Casey became the Lead Mobile Developer at Optix, where they led the mobile development of their iOS and Android applications and collaborated with the design team on UI/UX discussions. Throughout their career, Casey has also freelanced as an IT Consultant, providing services such as web/application design and development, collaborative models, and software methodologies to various clients.

Casey Yu completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, which was obtained in 2006. Prior to that, Casey attended Handsworth Secondary School from 1996 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Casey obtained a "C# Master Level" certification from Brainbench in January 2008.
