Lamar Phifer

Lamar Phifer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recruitment and customer experience management. Currently serving as a Technical Recruiter for Optomi since July 2025, Lamar previously worked at TEKsystems as a Recruiter specializing in Risk & Security and Governance, Risk & Compliance from June 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included full life cycle recruitment and high-volume requisition management. Prior roles include Customer Experience Manager at Hendrick Automotive Group, where strategies for social media and online reputation were developed, and Guest Advocate Learning Mentor at Target, focused on enhancing guest interactions. Lamar has also gained experience in marketing and event management during internships at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and served as Vice President of Membership for Alpha Kappa Psi. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Lamar is also engaged in ongoing education with a focus on Design Thinking for Sales through Trailhead by Salesforce.
