Jonathan Whelan

Jonathan Whelan has extensive experience in the solar and energy consulting industry, currently serving as the VP of On-site Energy Programs and Director of Operations at Optony Inc. since May 2010. In this role, Jonathan leads the project management team, focusing on assessing solar opportunities and securing development agreements for clients. Prior to joining Optony, Jonathan worked as a Senior Project Manager at the same firm and held positions as a Project Coordinator and Installer at SPG Solar from September 2006 to January 2010, as well as an Installer at Home Energy Systems from June 2005 to August 2006. Jonathan holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Biology from Trinity University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
