Patrick Guthrie began their work experience in 2019 at RAPTOR DATA as a Graduate Electronic Engineer, where they primarily focused on the Electronics of a down hole oil well communications. Patrick worked with software such as Altium for PCB design and Draftsight and AutoCAD for component documentation. Patrick also gained experience in programming sensors within the device. In 2021, Patrick joined Optos as an Embedded Software Engineer.
Patrick Guthrie attended the University of Strathclyde from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition, they have recently completed certifications in "Accelerating CUDA C Applications with Concurrent Streams" and "Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C" from NVIDIA in March 2023.
