Robert Lamarre has extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering, particularly in the medical device and electronics industries. Currently serving as Quality System Lead at Optos since September 2011, Robert plays a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO 13485:2016, MDSAP, and EU MDR 2017/745. Previous positions at Optos include Manager of Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance Engineer, where Robert successfully hosted numerous audits and led various projects to enhance product quality and compliance. Prior experience at Mini-Systems, Inc. spanned over two decades in roles such as Thin Film Process and Quality Engineer, VP of Operations, and Senior Design Engineer, demonstrating a strong foundation in process optimization, design control, and project management. Robert holds certifications in PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and has an educational background in Electronics Engineering Technology.
