Markus Gerth

Markus Gerth has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Their most recent position is as Vice President at OptoTech Optikmaschinen GmbH since May 2018. Prior to that, they held executive positions at HEDRICH GROUP, including Executive Vice President (COO) from December 2012 to September 2017 and Member of the Board responsible for Marketing, Finance, IT, and HR from January 2009 to December 2012. Markus was also the Director of Hedrich vacuum systems India Co., Ltd. from April 2007 to September 2017. Markus Gerth has held various General Manager positions at Hedrich winding systems GmbH, Hedrich Xiamen Vacuum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Wilhelm Hedrich Vakuumanlagen GmbH & Co. KG. Markus also served as Head of Marketing at HEDRICH vacuum systems from April 1997 to August 2005.

Markus Gerth completed their education in two stages. From 1985 to 1988, they studied at Mercedes Benz (L. Gernandt KG) and obtained a degree in Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann. Afterward, Markus attended Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen - University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree in Marketing, Recht, and Unternehmensplanung.
