Ivan Chovanec

Ivan Chovanec is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management and information technology. Currently serving as General Manager at Optotune Slovakia since May 2019, Ivan also holds the position of Global Head of IT and EFS Manager, leading a team of 15 engineers in the development of electronics, firmware, and software for innovative optical products. Ivan has spearheaded various projects including the design of industrial controller platforms, advanced algorithms for software and firmware, and the creation of a custom Manufacturing Execution System. Previously, Ivan was a Project and Delivery Manager in a software company from 2011 to 2019, and held key consulting roles in Business Intelligence at S&T Slovakia, CSOB, and as an IT Consultant at CDL System. Ivan Chovanec holds an MSc. in Business Informatics from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
