Christopher Mayer is currently the Associate General Counsel for Pension Law & Policy at OPTrust, a role they began in 2023. Previously, they were Senior Legal Counsel at HOOPP, where they held various positions from 2015 to 2020. Christopher also gained valuable experience as an Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and as an articling student. They hold a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a B.Mus.(Hons.) from McGill University, along with a Master’s in Music from Rice University and an exchange program in International Business Law from Central European University.
