Investment Director - Private Equity at OPTrust

Maja Grudniewicz, CFA has a diverse work experience in the investment and banking industry. Maja is currently working as an Investment Director - Private Equity at OPTrust since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Vice President - Private Equity at Ripplewood from June 2015 to August 2020. In this role, they were a part of a lean PE team and focused on projects in telecom, consumer, and leisure sectors globally. Maja'sresponsibilities included transaction analysis, valuation, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and business development.

Before joining Ripplewood, Maja worked as an Associate - Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2011 to June 2015. Maja also had an internship with the same company as a Summer Analyst in 2010. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern at PwC in 2010 and as a Summer Analyst at Citi in 2009. Maja started their career as an Intern at the National Bank of Poland in 2008.

Maja Grudniewicz, CFA holds a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Maja also completed a Master in International Management under the CEMS program at the University of Cologne from 2010 to 2011. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from SGH Warsaw School of Economics between 2006 and 2009.

Additionally, Maja Grudniewicz obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in November 2017.
