Sky Schapiro

Sky Schapiro has over 19 years of work experience in tax-related roles. They currently serve as the Vice President Tax at OPTrust since March 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at BMO Financial Group, including Director of Taxation and Senior Manager of Taxation, where they provided corporate tax planning for the organization. They also worked as an Associate Lawyer at Aird & Berlis LLP from 2002 to 2005.

Sky Schapiro attended McGill University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Economics. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued higher education at the University of Toronto, achieving a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
