Abed Henry

Abed Henry is a Logistics Manager in Material Management at Optum, where they have been employed since 2020. Prior to this, Abed was the Director of Logistics at Bio Reference Laboratories Inc for 22 years. With nearly 20 years of experience in the laboratory business, Abed has overseen 16 supervisors and 2 managers, managing a workforce of over 447 employees across multiple states including California, Maryland, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. Abed has completed various continuous improvement certifications from NJIT and has taken courses on people management with Pryor Career Tracks, along with earning certifications in Lean and Six Sigma for process improvements. Abed is currently pursuing education at Rockland Community College.
