Aisha Austin

Aisha Austin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare and contract management. At Optum, Aisha held the position of National Contract Manager, responsible for evaluating, drafting, and negotiating provider contracts, while also fostering strong relationships with providers and internal partners. Prior to this, Aisha worked as a Product Manager and Vaccine Specialist, where business requirements were developed into actionable product roadmaps. Aisha also served as an Advanced Practice Recruiter with the National Staffing Agency, focusing on recruiting and retaining medical professionals. Previous roles include serving as a Combat Medic/Nurse in the US Army and working as a Functional Trainer at CACI International Inc., providing instruction on Electronic Health Records. Aisha holds a Master’s degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Columbia Southern University.
