Ashley Aleman

Ashley Aleman, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer at OptumCare Mid-America Region, where they lead clinical innovation in value-based care. With a focus on evidence-based practices and scalable care models, they strive to enhance health outcomes for patients while improving provider solutions. Prior to their current role, Ashley served as Senior Medical Director at Optum and was the owner and physician of a post-acute care practice. They completed their internal medicine residency at UT Health San Antonio, where they also held the position of Chief Resident Physician. Ashley has extensive experience in hospitalist roles and medical direction across several healthcare organizations.
