Brian A. Freeman

Brian A. Freeman, MD, MPH, currently serves as a Faculty member at Centra Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency and has held the role of Physician Advisor at Centra Health, overseeing patient care and clinical documentation processes. Previously, they worked as a Family Physician and Director of Adult and Family Medicine at Johnson Health Center, and as a Hospitalist across multiple hospitals in Virginia. They also completed an Op-Med Fellowship with Doximity and held various positions in family medicine and urgent care. Brian earned an MD from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and an MPH from Virginia Commonwealth University, complementing their background with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
