Chris Celka

Chris Celka is the Vice President of Data Science and Analytic Engineering at Optum, where they lead teams focused on developing advanced machine learning applications to combat fraud, waste, and abuse in payment integrity. Prior to this role, Chris served as the Senior Director of Data Science at UnitedHealthcare, overseeing analytics in payment integrity. Their extensive experience includes significant positions at Experian, where they directed fraud analytics and consulting teams, and a brief tenure as a statistician at the US Department of Education. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Math Education from Troy University.
