Dave Trausneck

Dave Trausneck serves as the Director of Communications at Optum, where responsibilities include creating and managing multi-channel communication strategies for the Optum Health East Region while fostering relationships with senior executives and stakeholders. Prior to this role, Trausneck was the Senior Manager of Public Relations & External Communications at Aidoc, achieving significant increases in earned media placements and impressions. As a Communications Consultant for Knowledge Partners, LLC, Trausneck elevated communications campaigns for government and nonprofit clients, notably enhancing USAID’s newsletters. Trausneck also held the position of Head of Communications at RK&K, directing external communications and increasing website referral traffic. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Social Media at Stansberry Research, where strategic initiatives drove business growth and expanded audience engagement. Trausneck holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the College of Charleston.
