Dawn Root

Dawn Root is the Director of Optum Legal Entity Licensing, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served as a Licensing Specialist at Optum from 2010 to 2018 and held roles including Manager of DOI Licensing and Associate Director of Licensing. Their experience also includes owning Imagine Consulting Services from 2006 to 2010, working as a Paralegal at RESTAT from 2010 to 2013, and serving as a Marketing and Event Coordinator at Beta Systems/Thomson from 1993 to 2002. Dawn earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
