Edwin Yang

Edwin Yang, MBA, MS, currently serves as Associate Director of Finance at Optum, focusing on pricing strategy since June 2021, after progressing through roles such as Sr Financial Consultant and Finance Manager within the same domain. Edwin's previous experience includes an internship in Intercontinental Commercial Strategy at Amgen and roles in pricing actuarial and internal auditing at organizations like Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and John Hancock Financial Services. Edwin also has a military background as a Financial & Operational Manager in the US Army and held positions in banking and financial representation earlier in the career. Academically, Edwin holds an MBA in Health Sector Management, Finance, and Commercial Strategy from Boston University's Questrom School of Business, a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Ohio University.
