Eric McBride

Eric McBride is a seasoned operations executive currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Optum since July 2023. Prior to this role, Eric held multiple vice president positions within UnitedHealth Group from January 2011 to September 2023, where responsibilities included oversight of Payment Integrity and Medica Operations, as well as leading enrollment and reconciliation teams for Medicare Operations. Additional experience includes managerial roles at BJ's Restaurants, Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro, Garfield's Restaurant & Pub, and TGI Fridays. Eric's educational background features an Executive Education from Yale School of Management in 2021 focusing on Inclusion and Diversity, an Executive Development Program from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2018, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earned in 1999.
