Eshani Perera

Eshani Perera, CFE, CPA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Accounting - Finance Integration at Optum since January 2023, focusing on acquisition finance integration within Optum Health. Previously, Eshani held the position of Regulatory Finance Manager - Accounting & Reporting at UnitedHealthcare from September 2021 to January 2023 and spent several years at Optum in various accounting roles, including Senior Accounting Consultant and Accounting Consultant, where responsibilities included managing accounting and audits for the International EAP business in the Asia Pacific region. Earlier in the career, Eshani worked as an Accountant at Pearson and as an Assurance Associate at EY, alongside a volunteer accounting internship at Grace Church. Eshani holds a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and a Bachelor of Science in Business, both from the UMN Carlson School of Management, and an Associate in Arts with an emphasis in Accounting from Normandale Community College.
